Article Submission Guidelines
Please review these guidelines before submitting. They keep the platform useful, respectful, and legally clear for everyone.
1. Submission Rules & Editorial Guidelines
- Relevance: Submissions should align with our core focus on community-building, local resilience, collaboration, and the positive intersection of technology and human connection.
- Originality: All articles must be original work. If your submission relies on data, research, or external quotes, please ensure proper attribution and linking to the primary sources.
- Tone and Respect: We advocate for constructive, empathetic, and solution-oriented dialogue. Content that contains hate speech, personal attacks, defamatory language, or harassment will not be accepted.
- Non-Commercial Content: While we welcome case studies and examples of successful initiatives, submissions should not serve primarily as promotional material or advertisements for specific commercial products or paid services.
- Formatting & Length: We recommend articles range between 500 and 1,500 words. Please use clear headings and paragraphs to ensure readability.
2. Review and Publication Process
- Editorial Discretion: Submitting an article does not guarantee publication. The Community Conduit team reserves the right to review, edit for clarity, length, and formatting, or decline any submission at our sole discretion.
- Notification: Due to the volume of submissions, we may only contact authors whose pieces are selected for publication. If your article is accepted, you will be notified via the email address provided during submission.
3. Legal Disclaimers & Licensing
- Copyright & Ownership: By submitting your content to Community Conduit, you retain the copyright to your work. However, you grant Community Conduit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to publish, host, distribute, and share your article on our website, newsletters, and associated digital channels.
- Accuracy of Information: Authors are entirely responsible for the factual accuracy of their submissions. Community Conduit does not independently verify all user-submitted data and is not liable for any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in the published content.
- Views Expressed: The opinions, beliefs, and viewpoints expressed by individual authors do not necessarily reflect the official policies, opinions, or positions of Community Conduit, its founders, or its affiliates.
- No Compensation: Unless explicitly agreed upon in writing prior to submission, authors will not receive financial compensation for their contributions.
